Trump: Transgender People Barred from US Military

President Donald Trump says that transgender people may not serve "in any capacity" in the U.S. military.

The president took to Twitter Wednesday morning to make the announcement.

"Our military must be focused on decisive and overwhelming victory and cannot be burdened with the tremendous medical costs and disruption that transgender in the military would entail," he said.
