The Black Farmer's Market in Buffalo's Masten Park is celebrating the community's culture.
The market has everything from food to clothes.
Saturday's market was the grand opening of a combination of two smaller markets.
Organizers say large part of the market is education, providing children with pots, soil and seeds for them to grow their own goods.
"This is us being able to provide a fun and safe atmosphere so our culture can live, and commerce can happen because a lot of these are essential needs and the truth is, the most essential need is community and we're able to provide that to them here at the Black Farmer's Market every Saturday," said organizer Dewitt Lee.
The market was at the Johnnie B. Wiley Sports Pavilion on Jefferson Avenue.
Next Saturday, it will be back and celebrating Black Business Month, bringing in many more black-owned businesses.
