For some the farmers market is a way to get produce on a Saturday morning but for others it's how they make their living.
Small business owners like Danielle Wilson said she’s seen an influx in sales since the pandemic started.
“I really have noticed more people coming to the markets at least in my opinion. I feel like more people are trying really hard to support local businesses, to support local farmers. ”

Wilson said she's had to step up production to keep up with the customer demand.
"[We] tripled the amount of jars that we're selling per week as opposed to last year so we're canning on average 150 jars a night and it was 167 yesterday."

Farmers market shopper Lisa Crocker said she’ll always shop small because that benefits the community.
“When we support our local small businesses and shop small and support people who are actually so close to the products they are bringing to market it’s good for our whole community.”

Wilson said, she's thankful the community is still coming out in the pandemic.
“I really am grateful to the Quincy area everyone like that for being so supportive.”

Officials said high-risk residents who want to shop at the farmers market can contact The District to place a curbside pickup order.
