The Troy Waterfront Farmers Market's first outdoor market of the season will be Saturday, April 3, returning to Riverfront Park, the same location as last fall.

As the season advances, more than 80 vendors will participate in the market. Free parking will be available on city streets and in the nearby Uncle Sam Parking Garage. Pedestrians can enter and exit the market from Front Street as well as from the Riverfront Plaza Staircase on River Street (with the prominent "TROY.NY" mural).

Market hours will be 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Some basic tips:

Masks are required to be worn in the market area.  Customers may request a mask if they do not have one. All safety protocols from last season apply and can be found at: https://www.troymarket.org/the-market-2021

Cash is encouraged as not all vendors accept credit cards.

SNAP/ EBT are accepted.

Two ATMs are available at the market.

Dogs are not allowed, excepting service animals.

"We're starting our twenty-second outdoor season a month earlier than usual this year," said Steve Ridler. "Although it will not be the festival-like street bazaar of pre-COVID days, Riverfront Park offers a pleasant and safe location in the heart of downtown Troy."
