A new restaurant called The Huck @ Pybus will take over the space formerly occupied by Pybus Bistro at the Wenatchee market.
The Huck will be operated by Eric and Angie Decker, owners of The Wild Huckleberry restaurant in Wenatchee, and will serve food described as modern rustic American, according to a press release from Pybus Public Market.
The restaurant is scheduled to open Sept. 1.
Pybus Bistro, one of the building’s original tenants closed in May after being unable to reach a lease agreement with Pybus.
“The Huck @ Pybus will serve breakfast, lunch and dinner featuring eggs benedict, creative omelets, savory pork chops and rich creamy pasta,” according to the press release.
The restaurant will also serve cocktails and locally produced wines and beers.
The Deckers also own The Wild Huckleberry in Ellensburg, the Big Y Café on Highway 2/97 and the restaurant at the Leavenworth Golf Course.
In other news, Pybus announced Monday that Farm to Face & Body – Anderson Family Farm, would be closing its retail store at the market.
That business has been at Pybus since 2018.
