Stocks, Treasury yields and oil fell Friday while the yen jumped as a new coronavirus strain sent a wave of caution across global markets.
An Asia-Pacific share gauge slid to the lowest since mid-October, with Japan and Hong Kong underperforming and travel shares among the biggest decliners. U.S. and European futures sank and the 10-year Treasury yield dropped to around 1.60%.
