The Montclair Public Library kicked off a month of Kwanzaa programs with the Ujamaa Outdoor Winter Market Saturday, Dec. 5.
On hand were local chefs, artisans and entrepreneurs. Vendors had gifts for holiday shoppers, and indoor programs including balloon twisting, a magic show and music.
Upcoming Kwanzaa events include a lesson on designing holiday cards Dec. 15 from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at the main branch of the library and Culture Queen’s virtual Kwanzaa celebration on Sunday, Dec. 26 at 2 p.m. Participants can register at MontclairLibrary.org.
