Today, President Biden is in New Hampshire on the first of two trips this week designed to sell voters on the bipartisan infrastructure law. Ahead of the midterms, it’s a key part of Democratic messaging about their ability to get things done in Washington even as other legislative priorities are stalled. Biden is visiting the harbor in Portsmouth, N.H., to talk about investments in ports. On Thursday, he’ll highlight the infrastructure law on the other side of the country during a trip to Portland, Ore. And then he’ll stop in Seattle for an Earth Day event on Friday.
Before leaving Washington on Tuesday morning, Biden held a call with allies to talk about the war in Ukraine. On Monday, the White House signaled that more sanctions on Russia are coming amid its continued aggression.

Noted: Harris will officiate New Mexico governor’s wedding
Return to menuNew Mexico Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham (D) and her fiance, Manuel Cordova, are going to be married next month — by Vice President Harris.
Harris will officiate the wedding , the Associated Press reports. She will also play host: The celebration will be held at the vice-presidential residence at the Naval Observatory.
“We’re delighted to celebrate our wedding in front of family and close friends,” Lujan Grisham and Cordova said in a statement. “Like so many New Mexicans, we’ve postponed family celebrations over the past two years during this pandemic. We feel fortunate to be with our loved ones in celebration of our marriage.”
This will be a second marriage for both Lujan Grisham and Cordova, who have been together for about 10 years. Lujan Grisham’s first husband, Gregory Grisham, died in 2004 after 20 years of marriage.
The wedding at the Naval Observatory will be held May 21, according to the Albuquerque Journal. The couple also plans to hold a second celebration in New Mexico.
News of Lujan Grisham’s wedding comes days after the office of the first lady announced that the Bidens’ oldest granddaughter, Naomi Biden, will get married at the White House in November.
